At Ullesthorpe Scout Campsite
Following on from the successful Skills Weekend that we held in September 2011 at Johns Lee Wood and responding to pressure from those leaders that were on that weekend, I have, with Allan Padmore, booked the Ullesthorpe Scout Campsite to run a similar event for ALL leaders and young leaders for the weekend of
June 22nd ~ 24th 2012
There were some difficulties in the early stages of planning last year with slow returns. If you would like to come on this course then please fill in the attached skills check list form and booking form together with a cheque for £25.00 (made payable to Leicestershire Scout Council) and return it to my address ASAP so that this does not happen this time.
There is already a list of people who have expressed interest in this weekend away and are wanting to book on this event, so if you are want to join us for a fun weekend of practical Scouting Skills then get the paperwork in to me ASAP
By the nature of the event being a very practical, hands-on course there will have to be an upper limit of 24 persons, so it will be on a “FIRST COME ~ FIRST SERVED” basis.
If applications are more than the upper limit, then we will be looking to run other events, hopefully towards the end of 2012, to cover the demand
Further information regarding this course will be sent following receipt of the booking form, the skills questionnaire and the £25-00 payment
