St George’s Day – Leicester Cathedral

Baden-Powell chose Saint George to be the patron Saint of Scouting. He felt that the Saint George legend set a good example of faith, courage and perseverance for future generations.

St George’s Day is celebrated on the 23rd April, and around this time Scouts will hold some form of celebration and  as a County, we have arranged for Leaders to attend the morning service at the Leicester Cathedral to which  the Bishop of Leicester will also be attending.

So Leaders are invited to the service at 8:30am on Monday the 23rd of April in the Leicester Cathedral.

If you are attending can you please advise  Graham Berridge : grahamberridge007@btinternet.com
