Holwell Pastures

Holwell Pastures
Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire

Holwell Pastures is a field camp site located to the north of Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.  Melton Mowbray is well known for its famous Pork Pies.

The Camp Site is owned and managed by Melton District Scouts and provides an ideal opportunity for groups of youths to enjoy back to basic camping and the outdoors. It can easily cater for Beaver Scout Sleepovers to Explorer Expeditions and D of E.

Holwell Pastures is situated approximately 3 Miles from Melton Mowbray itself, and is in beautiful and tranquil countryside.  The field is subdivided into 2 areas enabling smaller groups to share the site if necessary.

The site benefits from a fully equipped kitchen and indoor meeting/eating area, hot and cold showers, classroom/indoor accommodation with segregated rooms for leaders.   We are currently in the process of refurbishing the disabled toilet and shower facilities.
