Globe Trekker is a resource where Scouts review International Trips they have made. Globe Trekker allows Scouters to share the experience and knowledge gained it’s also a valuable resource to look at reviews already submitted to gain advice and inspiration for your upcoming adventure.
Have you visited Globe Trekker yet?
Globe Trekker is an online resource, although you will need a Scout Association Username and Password to be able to submit and read reviews. So if you have organised or been involved in a Scouting trip or expedition overseas we’d like you to visit Globe Trekker and tell us all about it. Through Globe Trekker the International Team is keen to share the experiences and knowledge of trip organisers to allow more young people to experience the world. Simply fill in the online form and submit your reports.
Speak to the Scouting experts. If you are looking to organise an international adventure with your section, you can pick up vital tips and advice by reading some of what has already been submitted by other Scouts. Over 400 groups around the UK participate in expeditions abroad every year with over 12,000 young people jumping on planes, coaches, boats and trains for an enjoyable, and possibly life-changing, experience.
To use Globe Trekker, log on to scouts.org.uk, select a destination from the drop-down list or click on one of the ID points on the maps and you are away. Remember if you still can’t find what you are looking for; get in touch with the International Team: firstname.lastname@example.org and we can get you in touch with the Headquarters contact for the region you want to visit or assist you in planning your adventure.
Globe Trekker is only as good as the testimonials submitted by you, so let’s make it into a great tool for everyone.
