This will be my last Christmas as County Commissioner, so I feel it’s the right time to thank everyone for all your support and commitment over the last 9 years.
Over the last 9 years we have had some amazing adventures and also some of the biggest challenges, but together we have continued to support thousands of young people with Scouting opportunities week in and week out.
It has been fantastic this week to hear that Scouts have achieved the Queens Platinum Jubilee volunteering award, which proves I’m not the only one that truly appreciates all that you do and that you will continue to do.
Be very proud of the amazing people you are.
Going forward, please support Nick and the team, as well as you always have me.
