Who are we?
We are the Leicestershire Traditional Outdoor Activity Skills Team. We offer a wide range of practical Scouting skills to all ages and groups.
These are offered through our small team of leaders and instructors who all share a passion for nature and the outdoor lifestyle.
What we do?
Tomahawks is a firm favourite for all ages, with either our Fixed throwing range at The Ullesthorpe Campsite LE17, or mobile throwing range.
Other activities typically include Backwoods cooking, most aspects of fire lighting, Safe knife use and the law, Kellie Kettles, Safe/Practical tool use and Cordage made from naturel fibres. But if you have an outdoors activity not mentioned, ask and we shall see what can be arranged.
Leaders Skills and Training?
None of our activities are permitted under The Scouts P.O.R. However, our instructors and leaders are all trained to a Bushscout.UK level following the IOL ethos.
